The Cognitive Behavior Therapy model tends to be short term and problem focused. We emphasize symptom relief and an achievement of an enhanced sense of well-being. Our patients are encouraged to develop a set of skills that will eventually assist them in becoming their own therapists. These skills can be used to address relationship problems, mood swings, self-esteem, self defeating behavior patterns and more.
